Repeated values in response

Andrés Marotta Oct 07, 2019 08:36AM BST

I'm using "5 days/3 hour forecast API" and I noticed that, from almost a week ago, the values for "temp", "temp_min" and "temp_max" are the same in the days after current.

Also, I saw that fields "pressure" and "sea_level" are the same always, which seems pretty strange.

I'm using this call:

http://api.openweathermap.org/data/2.5/forecast?lat=38.26218&lon=-0.70107&units=metric&lang=es&APPID={appId}

Hello,

Please, do not confuse min/max parameters in our weather APIs.

In Hourly forecast API, Current weather API and 5 days/3-hour forecast API – temp_min and temp_max are optional parameters mean min/max temperature in the city at the current moment to see a deviation from current temp just for your reference. For large cities and megalopolises geographically expanded it might be applicable. In most cases, both temp_min and temp_max parameters have the same volume as ‘temp’. Please, use temp_min and temp_max parameters in current weather API optionally.
In 16 Day forecast – min and max mean maximum and minimum temperature in the day.

About pressure,
list.main.pressure Atmospheric pressure on the sea level by default, hPa
list.main.sea_level Atmospheric pressure on the sea level, hPa

So the same values in this field are OK

Hi Pavel,

I'm not sure if I understand what you are saying. I can't find in documentation where I can use "temp_min" and "temp_max" as parameters.
In the response I get, these fields ("temp", "temp_min" and "temp_max") have different values in the first four items:

From the fifth onwards, values start repeating.

I don't see the logic there.

Thank you in advance.
